TOUR DESCRIPTION

DAY 1: Arrival to Hamburg (22.06.2019)

Individual arrival to Hamburg. Meeting point at Harley-Davidson® Hamburg Nord at 2 pm. First meeting, small city tour through Hamburg.

DAY 2: St. Peter-Ording (23.06.2019)

Day´s stage: 112 m - overnight stay in St. Peter-Ording

After breakfast, we start our tour along the Elbe to Glücksstadt on the Lower Elbe, known for the beautiful old town and its culinary specialty, the Matjes. It continues on the geographically lowest point in Germany, the Wilstermarsch on Wacken. Every year in Wacken the famous Wacken Heavy Metal Festival takes place on the first weekend of August. Along the North Sea coast we drive to our destination St. Peter-Ording. At Tönning we make a stop at the Eider barrier. The great storm surge in 1962 was the trigger for the construction of the Eider barrage. Today, the gigantic structure is a popular excursion destination on the peninsula Eiderstedt. From there you have a beautiful view into the distance. St. Peter-Ording means houses on stilts, miles of beach, unique dune landscapes and thousands of beach sailors.

DAY 3: Lübeck (24.06.2019)

Day´s stage: 155 m - overnight stay in Lübeck

Through an idyllic landscape we drive today towards Baltic Sea fjord Schlei. He separates the two Schleswigschen landscapes fishing and Schwansen. We come through numerous picturesque villages, gently rolling landscapes with meadows and fields to the water. We continue via Kiel, where just another sporting and cultural highlight is fully in motion - the Kieler Woche, the largest sailing event in the world and the largest summer festival in northern Europe. We make a detour to Laboe and look at the submarine U-995. It is the last surviving U-boat type VII-C / 41 in Germany, the most-built submarine in World War II. It performed nine enemy raids. Our destination today is the Great Plöner See, whose landmark is the Plöner Castle, which towers majestically above the lake and was already the seat of dukes, princes and kings. Lübeck is characterized by its buildings in the style of brick Gothic. The landmark of the city is the Holstentor.

DAY 4: Tangermünde (25.06.2019)

Day´s stage: 168 m - overnight stay in Tangermünde

Today we start the day with a tour on the beach road Neustadt-Scharbeutz-Timmendorfer beach to Travemünde. There it goes to the ferry to Priwall and on to the state capital of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Schwerin. There we take a look at the Schwerin Castle with its fantastic location, towers and turrets and sparkling golden battlements. It floats on its island in Lake Schwerin. Today it is the seat of the Landtag. After a lunch break we continue to Tangermünde, the medieval imperial city on Tangier and Elbe. The atmosphere in the old town of Tangermünde resembles a movie set - pure romance and unique old town charm.

DAY 5: Stolberg (26.06.2019)

Day´s stage: 134 m - overnight stay in Stolberg

Our way leads us today through the eastern Harz. The eastern Harz with its equally diverse and fascinating landscape is one of the most popular holiday regions in Germany. In the eastern Harz are idyllic villages, unique natural spectacles and very interesting sights. One or the other stop is planned. In Stolberg in the Southern Harz, you will find 500 years of German half-timbered history, museums and a magnificent castle overlooking the city in a confined space. If you want, you can join us from Stolberg and make a 50 km trip to Kyffhäuser with its famous winding motorcycle route to Kyffhäuser monument (Barbarossadenkmal).

DAY 6: Hamburg (27.06.2019)

Overnight stay in Hamburg

Today it's back to Hamburg via the West Harz and the Lüneburg Heath. At Zollenspieker Fährhaus we make a stop. It offers the best view along the Elbe.

A dinner is planned for the evening.

DAY 7 & 8: Hamburg HARLEY DAYS® (28.06.2018 & 29.06.2019)

Overnight stay in Hamburg (central)

Both days are at your free disposal.

Hamburg Harley Days® is the biggest Harley-Davidson® city event in Germany.

Together with Harley-Davidson® Hamburg, we have a VIP tent on the event site, where you can always find yourself for a coffee or a snack.

DAY 9: Hamburg (27.06.2019)

Meeting point 10 am for a joint VIP breakfast (meeting point will be announced shortly).

Common descent to the parade, where you drive with us at the top of the baggage!
